A percussion ensemble arrangement for 9+ players of the well known carol. An absolute must for a Christmas concert! All ages of students seem to know this and it’s ideal if you have lots of Djembe of conga drummers.
Glockenspiel, Vibraphone, Marimba, Piano, Shaker, Timpani, Drum Kit and two hand drums. Either Djembe or Conga etc…
There is a two bar intro and outro and then two slightly different verses which you could repeat depending on how many verses you wished to play/sing. The 2nd verse has a harmony on the vibraphone and piano parts, which are the two hardest parts. I tend to play the piano part to hold it all together.
I use this with my whole class teaching and I add lots of other auxiliary parts if needed, depending on what and who I have. The shaker and Djembe 1 part is very easy so you can put beginners on those parts if necessary.
It comes as a 10 page score and 9 separate parts. Listen to a midi version below.
